On February 4, we mark an important date – Oncologist Day and World Cancer Day, proclaimed by the Union for International Cancer Control.
Thanks to enormous progress in medicine and science, a cancer diagnosis today is no longer a death sentence. According to Russia's Ministry of Health, the five-year survival rate for cancer patients has increased by more than 15% in recent years. Early diagnosis plays a key role in this – today, nearly 60% of cancer cases in Russia are detected at stages I–II, when treatment is most effective. These achievements have been made possible by the daily work of countless talented professionals.
Scientific research is the foundation for new breakthroughs in oncology. We are pleased that our company can contribute to this effort by supplying researchers and scientific centres with reagents and cell culture media – essential tools for studying tumour development mechanisms, conducting preclinical trials of new drugs, and developing innovative therapies.
