Ready-to-use medium. It is a mixture of colloidal silicon particles with a silane coating based on Percoll PLUS. It contains salts, amino acids, carbohydrates and antibiotic gentamicin sulfate.
The medium provides natural environmental conditions to the isolation of spermatozoid from the ejaculate by gradient fractioning in preparation for assisted reproductive technologies.
The "Perselect" media are 100% made for preparation of the required density gradients. If necessary, it is possible to prepare gradients with a density in the range of 35-90%.
"Perselect" media 90% and 45% are intended for preparation of a single-stage gradient.
"Perselect" media 90% can be used both individually (single-stage gradient) and in combination with "Perselect" 45% media(two-stage gradient), depending on the floating density and the required degree of the selected cell fraction purification. The gradient is prepared immediately before use for obtaining the best result.
