Hypoxanthine-thymidine (HT) solution 50-x, sterile
It is used as an additive to nutrient media after selection of hybridomic cells.
The culture media with the HT addition is produced to purify the culture from residual intracellular aminopterin. Hypoxanthine-thymidine is not added to the media after the normal biosynthesis of nucleosides in cells is restored.
This product is intended for research purposes.
Formulation:
- hypoxanthine - 5 mM
- thymidine - 0.8 mM
The preparation is diluted in 10 ml of distilled water.
Long-term storage at -20 °C.
